The plant reaches a height of 180–190 cm. The head is flat, relatively thin, 20–25 cm in diameter, up to 35 cm maximum. The seeds are dark-colored with a black stripe; the thousand kernel weight is 55–70 grams.
The vegetation period varies depending on the cultivation zone and the data source from 100 to 118 days. The average yield is 24.7–28.5 c/ha with a potential of up to 37 c/ha. The oil content of the seeds is in the range of 49–52%, husk content is 20–21%.
The variety possesses drought tolerance, genetic resistance to lodging, and immunity to broomrape, downy mildew, rust, and verticillium wilt. The plants are suitable for mechanized harvesting and do not shatter when left in the field.
