The plant reaches an average height of about 158 cm. Leaves are triangular, medium-sized, and dark green. The head is medium-sized, convex in shape, semi-pendulous, with intensely yellow flowers. Seeds are medium-large, ovoid-elongated, black-grey with stripes; the thousand kernel weight is 70–75 g.
The hybrid possesses good resistance to lodging, stem breakage, drought, and heat. It exhibits resistance to downy mildew and white rot, and shows high resistance to Phomopsis. The self-fertility rate is 75–80%.
Oil content in seeds ranges from 51 to 53%. The oil is intended for food use. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in all growing zones of the crop, except for regions infested with Orobanche.
