The line is a product of crossing the lines PHA232 and U9849LM. It belongs to the late maturity group and is characterized by tall height. The plants have broad triangular green leaves, yellow ray florets, and orange tubular florets. The seeds are elongated with a striped dark brown hull.
This line is not a commercial hybrid and does not possess resistance to common sunflower diseases and pests. Its agronomic value is determined exclusively by its combining ability in breeding new hybrid forms.
