The designation HP212A refers to a breeding component that acts as either a maternal or paternal line in crossing. This line is used in breeding work to obtain hybrids, an example of which is the AS 33102 KL hybrid.
Due to the fact that HP212A is a highly specialized genetic material rather than a commercial hybrid, publicly available agronomic characteristics of the plant are absent. The traits of the variety are evaluated as part of the final hybrid obtained on the basis of this line.
