The line is specialized breeding material and is not intended for mass planting. It possesses good combining ability, which allows it to be used in hybridization.
The plant is resistant to downy mildew (race 770) and imidazolinone herbicides. Morphologically, the line is characterized by the absence of anthocyanin pigmentation on the hypocotyl, and the position of the head at maturity is intermediate, directed downwards.
