IMISUN is a public genetic line (germplasm) developed in 1998 by the United States Department of Agriculture. It contains a specific mutation that provides plant resistance to imidazolinone herbicides, which allows for the use of Clearfield technology for weed control.

In the seed market, the name IMISUN is often used to designate the genetic technology or commercial hybrids from third-party originators, for example, the Serbian hybrid NS Imisan. This genetic line is not an independent commercial variety of Advanta Seeds, which uses other designations for its Clearfield hybrids.
