The Latituda OR hybrid, also known by the designation NS X 26749, is an early-maturing crop with a vegetation period of 100–102 days. Plant height varies from 160 to 180 cm. The hybrid is distinguished by a thin head, a moderately deep root system, and intensive growth in the initial stages of development.
The yield potential exceeds 50 c/ha with an oil content in the seeds of 49–52%. The thousand kernel weight is 60–75 g, and the husk content is 23–25%. The crop is adapted for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe and Steppe zones.
The plant possesses complex resistance to diseases and pests, including rust, phomopsis, phoma, alternaria, and the sunflower moth. The hybrid is resistant to seven races of broomrape (A–G+) and exhibits high adaptability to unfavorable arid conditions.
