The line is used as a genetic resource for breeding, particularly for crossing with wild sunflower species such as Helianthus maximiliani. The primary focus of work with this material is increasing plant resistance to broomrape (Orobanche cumana).
Hybrids obtained with the participation of this line demonstrate high resistance to races F and G of the parasite under conditions of artificial inoculation. Data on characteristics such as maturity group or oil content are absent from open sources, as the material is an intermediate breeding product.
