The vegetation period of the variety is about 110–120 days. The variety is intended for cultivation for agricultural purposes, primarily for the production of vegetable oil and biofuel.

The plant possesses resistance to seven races of broomrape and major sunflower diseases. Resistance to herbicides of the "Euro-Lightning" group (imidazolinones) is claimed.
