Variety description

Plants of the Skorospelyi 87 variety reach a height of 130–150 cm. The stem is strong, foliage is medium, and the heads are flat and of regular shape with a diameter of 18–24 cm. The seeds are dark or dark grey in color, with weakly expressed stripes.
The variety is resistant to downy mildew, local races of broomrape, and sunflower moth. The thousand kernel weight is 60–90 g. Yield in competitive trials varied from 18.4 to 28.8 c/ha, reaching 32.5 c/ha in the most favorable years.
