The LG 50270 hybrid belongs to the early-ripening group with an average growing season of 95–98 days and reaches an average height of 155 cm. It is intended for cultivation using traditional technology in steppe and forest-steppe zones.
The plant possesses genetic resistance to new races of downy mildew and seven races of broomrape (A–G). It is distinguished by high resistance to phomopsis, head rot, root rot, charcoal rot, phoma, and dry rot.
The hybrid is an oilseed type, has a high oil yield, and the thousand kernel weight is 55–70 grams.
