The SU cultivation technology implies tolerance to tribenuron-methyl-based herbicides for weed control. The hybrid has good resistance to lodging and a complex of diseases, including downy mildew, phomopsis, phoma, sclerotinia, verticillium wilt, and rust. Resistance to Orobanche cumana races A–E has also been noted.
