The variety possesses high resistance to lodging and drought. The phytosanitary profile includes resistance to downy mildew (RM9), broomrape races A, B, C, D, E, as well as high tolerance to Sclerotinia, Phomopsis, and rust.
Quality indicators include an oil content of 47–50% and a thousand kernel weight of 60–65 g. There is also a hybrid MAS 87.IR, which is early-mid and intended for Clearfield technology.
