The variety is the result of crossing cultivated sunflower with the wild species H. tuberosus L. The growing season is 92–94 days. Plant height varies from 190 to 200 cm.
The oil content in absolutely dry seeds reaches 56%. The average yield of oilseeds is 3.3 t/ha. The variety possesses complex resistance to downy mildew, broomrape, Phomopsis, and the sunflower moth.
