The hybrid was bred in the 1970s and was used in scientific research as a model object. In particular, studies were conducted on the influence of phytohormones, such as gibberellins and abscisic acid, on seed germination processes and embryo dormancy, as well as an analysis of the formation of resistance to stress factors.

In an agronomic context, the variety is recognized as historical breeding material, which is currently excluded from registers and is not commercially relevant for modern production.
