The NS-H-6059 (NS SUMO 007) hybrid belongs to the mid-early maturity group with a vegetation period of 106–111 days. Plants reach a height of 150–170 cm. The potential yield of the hybrid is up to 5.5 t/ha, and the oil content in the seeds is in the range of 49–51%.
The variety possesses genetic resistance to six races of broomrape (A–F). It shows high resistance (9 points) to rust and alternaria blight, and good resistance (8 points) to phomopsis, phoma, downy mildew, and white rot. Tolerance to verticillium wilt and sclerotinia is also noted.
The hybrid is characterized by high drought tolerance, resistance to lodging and shedding, as well as good cold tolerance. It is adapted to the «SUMO» cultivation technology, which provides for the use of tribenuron-methyl-based herbicides.
