NS H 6963 is a simple mid-early hybrid with medium plant height. The stem is strong, the root system is moderately deep, the head is very convex and well-filled, and the seeds are of medium size.
The hybrid possesses genetic resistance to 7 races of broomrape (A–G), downy mildew, and rust, as well as high tolerance to Phomopsis, Macrophomina, and white rot. The cultivation technique is classical; intense initial growth and drought tolerance are noted.
The yield potential is over 45 c/ha. The oil content in the seeds reaches 48–50% with a hull content of 23–25%.
