The line belongs to the early-ripening group. It is used in breeding programs to create new sunflower hybrids.

This line is an object of scientific research aimed at studying the genetic diversity of the crop and its resistance to pathogens, in particular to the charcoal rot pathogen Macrophomina phaseolina.
