The line was developed by the backcrossing method from parent forms 520999R and OIN587R. It is classified as mid-season and is characterized by a medium-low plant height.
Morphologically, the plant has a branched stem and heart-shaped leaves with wavy edges. The leaf canopy is sparse due to long internodes, and the ray florets during the flowering period are bent backwards and tilted at 30–40 degrees from the plane of the capitulum.
The main purpose of the line is for use as a component in the production of sunflower hybrids for vegetable oil extraction. The plant carries genes ensuring a high oleic acid content.
