The hybrid was developed by Nidera and was intended for sunflower seed production. Information about it can be found in publications and field trial reports conducted mainly in the 2000s in South American countries.
Currently, other sunflower hybrids are produced under the Paraiso brand, in particular those bred by SAATEN-UNION, which possess different characteristics, such as herbicide resistance or other maturity groups. This hybrid should not be confused with modern representatives of the series.
