The variety is intended for cultivation as medicinal raw material, rather than as a traditional oilseed or confectionery crop. Research is focused on obtaining polyphenolic compounds from the aerial part of the plant.
The plant is adapted to the conditions of the forest-steppe zone of Ukraine. Approbation of the variety was carried out on the basis of an experimental station in the Poltava region, where it demonstrated stable growth indicators.
