The hybrid is an oilseed crop bred in France in the late 1970s. The plant reaches a height of about 141–142 cm and possesses specific indicators of root system density distribution in the soil.

A distinctive feature is resistance to downy mildew. According to the results of studies conducted during the period 1979–1981, the oil content in the seeds of this hybrid is about 41–42.8%.
