The hybrid belongs to the mid-early maturity group with a growing period of 105 to 123 days. The plant reaches a height of 140–180 cm and forms convex, medium-sized heads. The oil content in seeds is 49–52%; potential yield is estimated at up to 5.0 t/ha.
The plant possesses genetic resistance to rust, downy mildew, and sunflower moth, and also exhibits tolerance to Phomopsis, white rot, and gray rot. The hybrid is resistant to 5 races of broomrape and to soil and atmospheric drought.
The cultivation technology includes the use of sulfonylurea herbicides, which allows for the control of a broad spectrum of dicotyledonous weeds. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in forest-steppe and steppe zones.
