The hybrid was obtained using immature embryo culture techniques and gamma irradiation of the paternal line. The plant forms a nodding head with yellow disc florets without anthocyanin coloration. The seeds are egg-elongated in shape, colored black with characteristic gray stripes along the edges.
The variety possesses pronounced resistance to downy mildew and leaf pathogens. It is distinguished by proven resistance to broomrape (Orobanche cumana) and surpasses a number of standard varieties in terms of productivity and oil yield.
