The confectionery variety "Рио" is characterized by a growing season of 95 to 107 days and a plant height of 160–185 cm. Its yield potential is up to 30 c/ha, seed oil content reaches 42–44%, and the thousand kernel weight is up to 120 g. The plant is a honey plant and is sensitive to high planting density.
