The hybrid possesses resistance to a number of common sunflower diseases, including downy mildew, phoma black stem, white rot, and phomopsis. The plant is also resistant to broomrape races A–E.

In official registers and scientific publications, there is no confirmation of the existence of a variety named "San Luca" created by a group of researchers consisting of Y. Stoyanova, P. Petrov, V. Velkov, and others. The mentioned name refers to the commercial hybrid Sanluca RM.
