The Suomi HTS hybrid is characterized by a growing period from 95 to 110 days and reaches a height of 150–180 cm. Oil content in seeds is 50–52%, yield potential reaches 5 t/ha.
The plant is distinguished by high plasticity to sowing dates, drought tolerance, and lodging resistance. It shows high tolerance to phomopsis, downy mildew, sclerotinia, and rust. Suitable for cultivation using tribenuron-methyl based herbicides.
