Yield potential depends on agronomic conditions: under normal conditions the figure is 3–4 t/ha, under irrigation — 3.5–4.5 t/ha, and in arid conditions — less than 2 t/ha.
The plant is not an IMI or SU hybrid and requires the use of standard soil herbicides. The recommended seeding rate is 40,000–42,000 seeds per hectare. Seed material typically undergoes fungicide treatment; additional protection against downy mildew is also recommended.
