The Tosca variety (or F1 Tosca) is classified as a decorative sunflower intended for cut flowers. The plant forms a single stem, and the inflorescence consists of yellow petals and a dark central disc.

Under experimental conditions, plant height varies from 70 to 110 cm. The variety is distinguished by relatively early flowering, preceding the Orange Glory variety by 5–7 days, with its development potentially dependent on day length.
