The sunflower hybrid Ursus was created as a result of a joint breeding program by Viktor Burlov and the company Rustica. During the period of its active use, it was grown in a number of European countries, including Turkey, Romania, and Italy.
Data on morphological characteristics, maturity group, and product quality indicators are absent in open sources. Information about the variety is limited to historical records on breeding programs, in particular, the mention of resistance to race E of broomrape.
