Variety description

The plant is a variety of the species Helichrysum petiolare. It is characterized by tomentose-pubescent stems and leaves of a silvery-grey color. By growth habit, it is a trailing or drooping subshrub, the height of which ranges from 20 to 100 cm depending on growing conditions.

It is used as an ornamental foliage crop for containers, hanging baskets, and border landscaping. The plant is thermophilic; in most climatic zones, it is grown as an annual or container crop, as it does not tolerate frost and is sensitive to waterlogging.
