Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 90 to 150 cm, sometimes up to 180 cm. The stems are stiff and upright, colored purple. Foliage is dark green with distinct purple veins.
The inflorescences are daisy-like heads with a yellow-brown central disk. Flowering lasts from early summer to early autumn. The variety is drought and heat tolerant and adapts to various soil types; the stems do not require staking.
The plant is used as ornamental garden and cut flower material, attracting butterflies and bees. It prefers well-drained soils and full sun.
