The variety was bred in 2000 in Boskoop, Netherlands, and selected in 2013. Breeding criteria included characteristics such as bush shape, flower size, foliage glossiness, and tolerance to high temperatures.

The plant has petioles of medium or long length, and leaf blades vary from light green to green. The flowers are characterized by the presence of green or medium-green nectaries and light yellow-green anthers.
