The plant has an upright bush habit and reaches a height of 0.3–0.4 m. The leaves are dark green with a serrated edge. The flowers are solitary, large, 7.5–8 cm in diameter, colored in light pink and purple-red, and are positioned on peduncles above the foliage level.
The variety is characterized by a moderately vigorous growth rate and prolonged, profuse flowering, which occurs from December to March. The plant possesses high frost resistance and is suitable for use in landscape design. All parts of the plant are toxic if ingested.
