Variety description

The variety forms a dense rosette of leathery palmately compound dark green leaves. Upright stems bear flowers directed outward. The plant reaches 40 cm in height and 50 cm in width.

Flowering occurs from late winter to spring. The plant is hardy, prefers areas with partial shade, and well-drained, fertile soils. It is used in ornamental gardening.
