Variety HF 1116, known by the trade name HGC® Ice Breaker® Bonny, is a compact bushy plant. The habit is upright or slightly spreading, and the growth type is characterized as moderately vigorous.

The foliage is evergreen, palmate-dissected, dark green in color with pronounced light veins. Sturdy peduncles hold the flowers upright. The plant is noted for profuse flowering and is adapted for garden conditions.
