The funnel-shaped flowers are dark red in color with a yellow throat and prominent yellow or white midribs on the petals. The plant height is about 38 cm, reaching 51 cm including the scapes. The variety is a dormant type, with foliage that dies back during the winter period.

The plant has the ability to rebloom, which can last up to 120 days. The variety is characterized by hardiness and ease of care, and is recommended for use in landscape design, including borders and container gardening. The flowers are suitable for cutting.
