The plant is a low-growing trailing species reaching a height of 15–30 cm. It is valued for its ornamental foliage with a "flaming" coloration, combining shades of red, bronze, purple, and green.
The variety belongs to tropical species, prefers diffused lighting and high air humidity. Direct sunlight has a negative effect on the leaf blades. The plant is used as an indoor crop and for landscaping enclosed spaces.
