Variety description
10 August 2026
The plant is a perennial evergreen subshrub up to 1 meter in height, maintaining more compact dimensions under certain conditions. The foliage is variegated: green with a creamy-white margin and a possible pink tint at the edges. The shoots have a reddish color. Flowering is accompanied by the formation of pink or lavender raceme inflorescences located above the foliage.
The variety is a hybrid, presumably originating as a mutation of the 'Pink Kisses' variety and related to the species Hemizygia obermeyerae. The plant prefers sunny or semi-shaded locations with well-drained soil. It is drought-tolerant but sensitive to frost. Pruning after flowering is recommended to maintain shape.
It is used in ornamental gardening for decorating vases, containers, and borders. The aromatic foliage is capable of repelling some pests, making the culture quite reliable in suitable climate zones.
