The bright scarlet flowers are capable of changing shape upon full petal opening due to their curling. The inflorescence typically forms 4 to 6 flowers. The plant possesses a powerful, thickened, and quite tall flower stalk. The leaves are linear-ligulate in shape and green in color.

Large bulbs are capable of producing from one to three flower scapes. Under indoor conditions, flowering usually occurs in the spring period, although timing may vary depending on the planting schedule. The variety is used as an ornamental indoor plant and is suitable for use as a cut flower crop.
