The variety belongs to the Double Galaxy group. The flowers are double, large, with a diameter from 20 to 25 cm. The coloration varies from soft pink to coral with white and light lime shades; a distinct stripe with crimson or pink veins runs along the center of the petals, and a slight greenish hue is possible in the center of the flower. The plant height is 40–70 cm.

From 2 to 5 buds form on one flower stalk, which bloom non-simultaneously. Flowering occurs 1.5–2 months after planting the bulb. The flower stalks are characterized by strength and resistance to lodging. The variety is intended for cultivation as a pot culture and for cutting.

The variety Pretnym is related to the variety Swenym.
