The variety is very early, characterized by medium plant height and good lodging resistance. The grain is distinguished by high specific weight and grain size; the variety possesses a high yield potential.
The plant possesses high winter hardiness and resistance to mosaic virus. It shows low sensitivity to Helminthosporium, powdery mildew and leaf rust; the sensitivity level to scald varies from low to moderate. The variety was obtained by crossing the Menhir and Maryse forms.
