The Cadiz barley variety was oriented towards northern climate conditions. During agronomic trials, it demonstrated high yield in crops without the use of fungicide treatment.
A distinctive economic feature of the variety was its very high resistance to powdery mildew. Detailed morphological characteristics, such as maturity group or plant height, are absent from open sources.
