The variety is a winter two-row barley of early maturity. The plants reach a height of 85–95 cm and demonstrate good lodging resistance. The variety is distinguished by intensive tillering and the ability to adapt to various soil types, possessing high winter hardiness and medium drought tolerance.
The plant has good resistance to brown rust, powdery mildew and barley mosaic virus. The thousand kernel weight is 53–55 g, protein content in the grain varies within 13–14%. The variety is intended for feed use.
