The variety is characterized by low susceptibility to powdery mildew, rust, and leaf spot. At the same time, it shows susceptibility to Heterodera avenae race 1 and 2. The variety is distinguished by a low tendency to lodging and stem or ear breakage when left standing too long.
During the variety trials of 2001–2002, the variety demonstrated a high grain yield in comparison with control samples. Subsequently, it was used as a component of three-way crossing to create donors of resistance to Fusarium head blight.
