The variety belongs to two-row barleys, is distinguished by excellent tillering ability and good lodging resistance. The plant possesses high resistance to Helminthosporium and also tolerates cold and drought.

The grain has a test weight of 64–68 kg/hl. The variety is intended for autumn sowing in the period from October to January and is suitable for cultivation on both irrigated and rain-fed lands. The recommended seeding rate is 140–180 kg/ha.
