The variety Kajsa is an early six-row spring barley of Swedish breeding, known in breeding documents under the number Sv67529. For a number of years, the variety was actively cultivated in Sweden and Finland, after which it was replaced by more modern varieties.
In agricultural science, the variety gained significance as valuable source material for breeding work. Specifically, it was used in the creation of the variety Karin by crossing with the variety Agneta.
