The variety is a spring two-row barley. In the history of breeding, it is known as an active parental form that participated in the development of other varieties, in particular, the Vatonga variety.
In the 1980s, the variety underwent variety testing in Northern European countries, where its resistance to pathogens, such as rust, and its genetic characteristics were studied. To date, detailed morphological descriptions of the variety are unavailable due to its historical status and its inclusion in gene bank collections.
