The variety is short-stemmed; stem height reaches about 80 cm. The plant has a strong and elastic stem, which ensures excellent resistance to lodging. The variety shows tolerance to common barley diseases, and also demonstrates high resistance to drought and winter stress conditions.
Yield potential exceeds 11 t/ha. Grain is of medium size, thousand kernel weight is about 43 g, test weight is in the range of 65–68 kg/hl, and protein content varies from 10.5 to 13%. Optimal sowing dates fall within the period from October 1 to 20 with a seeding rate of 350–400 germinating seeds per m².
