Pleiade is a two-row winter barley variety. The plants have medium height and a medium level of lodging resistance.

The variety is mid-season. It shows resistance to powdery mildew and scald (Rhynchosporium), while susceptibility to certain types of blotch has been noted.

The use of the variety covers feed and malting purposes.
